System of Credits and Grading @ VMU

The System of studies at VMU is based on the three levels introduced already in 1993: Bachelor, Master and PhD. Undergraduate, in other words, Bachelor studies consist of 160 credits, meanwhile Graduate Master studies consist of 80 credits.

System of University Level Studies in Lithuania

After the reestablishment of Vytautas Magnus University in 1989, it was the first university in Lithuania to introduce the three-level studies. After finishing them, one gains a BA or MA qualification or a PhD degree.
